on our spoons is the best. Our jigging spoons will look as good
after several months of fishing as they did the day you
first started. You can fish our jigging spoon on rip rap or bridge
pilings and it will take the punishment. Our jigging spoons are
Powder Coated, not painted. The three coat finish on our
jigging spoons encapsulates the decal so it will not come off. All
of our jigging spoons are coated with UV-Blast. UV-Blast coating
reflects UV light. Fish find baits that reflect UV light
faster than those without.

Most Predicator Fish use five senses to locate prey, sight, sound, smell, taste and lateral line. Sight: In most bodies of fresh water at 30 or 40 feet deep, natural sunlight is reduced. Now add to this off-colored or dingy water and visibility is severely affected. However, Ultraviolet (UV) light will penetrate off-colored or dingy water. (UV) light causes our UV Blast Coated Spoons to radiate in the water column, making them more visible to Predicator Fish over longer distances. Sound: A sound wave is a transfer of energy as it travels away from a vibrating source. The shape and construction of our spoons creates a vibration when jigged up and down, so much vibration you can feel it in your rod. Vibration in water creates sound. Lateral Line: This is a line of pores that runs from the gills to the tail on both sides of the fish. The pores are nerve endings that can sense very minor vibrations created by prey . The Lateral Line helps Predicator Fish detect prey at some distance by sensing the prey's vibration. Smell and Taste: Spoon fishing or, as some call it, jigging creates a reaction strike from the Predicator Fish. Smell and Taste play no role in a reaction strike. |
